You are an aspiring software engineer with a strong foundation in programming, particularly in C#. Your understanding of .NET technologies, including WinForms and WPF, will be essential as you contribute to real-time trading applications. You are a team player who enjoys working with cross-functional teams, including Traders and Quants, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
You have a passion for technology and a desire to understand the financial markets. You are detail-oriented and committed to writing clean, maintainable code. Your ability to implement robust unit and integration tests will help ensure the quality of the applications you develop. You are excited about the opportunity to work in a dynamic trading firm and contribute to innovative solutions that enhance trading performance.
Desirable
Experience with C# and .NET technologies is preferred, but you are open to learning and adapting to new tools and frameworks. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git will be beneficial as you collaborate with your team.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer Intern at Akuna, you will participate in the 10-week Akunacademy summer internship program, where you will gain hands-on experience in software development. You will work closely with the User Interface team to design, build, test, and maintain Windows desktop applications that are critical for market-making operations.
