You have a solid background in Site Reliability Engineering, with experience in building and operating scalable architectures. You understand the importance of system availability and have a knack for problem-solving, always looking for pragmatic solutions to complex challenges. Your technical expertise includes working with cloud platforms like AWS, containerization tools such as Docker, and orchestration systems like Kubernetes. You are proficient in scripting and automation, particularly with Python, and have a good grasp of infrastructure as code using Terraform. You are passionate about optimizing system performance and ensuring a seamless experience for users.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be part of the Fleet team, focusing on maintaining the availability of Algolia's search products. You will collaborate with various engineering teams to implement solutions that enhance system reliability and reduce costs. Your responsibilities will include monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing best practices for incident management. You will also contribute to the development of CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes and ensure that new features are delivered efficiently.
