You have a strong background in Site Reliability Engineering, with a focus on building and securing scalable infrastructure services. Your experience includes driving improvement projects in automation and observability, ensuring the reliability and performance of complex systems. You possess a growth mindset and are accountable for your work, thriving in a collaborative environment where you can lead technical initiatives. Your familiarity with compliance and security frameworks, such as SOC2 and ISO 27001, enhances your ability to implement robust security measures. You understand the importance of incident response and have a proven track record of managing incidents effectively.

Experience with Zero Trust security models and GitOps workflows is a plus, as is a passion for optimizing monitoring and logging pipelines. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams to develop best practices and improve overall system reliability. Your technical skills are complemented by strong communication abilities, allowing you to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
What you'll do
In this role, you will ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of Dropbox's infrastructure and services. You will collaborate with various teams to develop and maintain best practices for monitoring, logging, and incident response. Your responsibilities will include building, implementing, and maintaining automation and infrastructure-as-code tooling, specifically using Terraform, Ansible, and GitHub Actions. You will utilize container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, and Red Hat Openshift to manage containers at scale. Additionally, you will optimize monitoring and logging pipelines to enhance observability and incident response capabilities. Your contributions will directly impact the evolution of Dropbox's world-class infrastructure, ensuring it remains secure and scalable.
