Who you are

You have a strong background in cloud engineering, with experience in deploying and operating services on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform. Your expertise spans both Windows and Linux environments, enabling you to support diverse deployment needs effectively. You are well-versed in Infrastructure as Code, particularly with Terraform, and understand the principles of CI/CD, allowing you to automate processes and enhance operational efficiency.

You are familiar with cloud-native services and have a solid understanding of the Well-Architected Framework, ensuring that the solutions you design meet high standards of security, performance, and reliability. Your experience includes developing and maintaining container platforms for microservices, which is essential for supporting lightweight workloads and enabling scalable applications.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product and engineering teams to design and build secure, scalable cloud platforms. Your ability to architect core platform networking and manage routing and firewalls is crucial for maintaining robust security and operational excellence.

Desirable

Experience with multi-region deployments is a plus, as it allows you to support global operations and enhance service availability. Familiarity with modern container orchestration services will further strengthen your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms across Azure and GCP. Your primary focus will be on deploying and automating cloud platform services, ensuring that they meet the needs of product and engineering teams. You will leverage your knowledge of CI/CD tooling to streamline deployment processes and enhance operational efficiency.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining container platforms, enabling the deployment of microservices and lightweight workloads. Your expertise in Infrastructure as Code will be essential for automating infrastructure provisioning and management, allowing for rapid scaling and flexibility.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the cloud solutions you design adhere to the Well-Architected Framework principles, focusing on security, performance, and cost efficiency. Your role will also involve architecting and managing core platform networking, including routing and firewalls, to maintain a secure and reliable environment.
