Who you are

You have a strong background in finance operations, particularly in accounts receivable management. With at least 3-5 years of experience, you are adept at designing and optimizing collection strategies based on data-driven analysis. Your analytical skills allow you to interpret complex accounts receivable reports, including aging and DSO metrics, to drive strategic decisions.

You excel in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with stakeholders to resolve billing and collection issues. Your ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including executive communication, ensures that you can influence and improve processes across the organization. You are also experienced in mentoring team members on best practices for customer accounts management.

Your technical skills include proficiency in SQL and Excel, which you leverage to create actionable insights from multiple data sources. You are comfortable analyzing complex account scenarios and designing solutions to resolve payment disputes, ensuring excellent customer service while maintaining financial health.

Desirable

Experience with financial software or tools that enhance cash flow management would be a plus. Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based financial operations can set you apart in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and optimize collection strategies based on data-driven analysis of accounts receivable reports. You will lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives to enhance cash flow management and develop best practices for managing customer accounts. Your responsibilities will include analyzing complex account scenarios and resolving payment disputes, ensuring that you maintain excellent customer service.

You will partner with various stakeholders, including Sales, Billing, and Shared Services teams, to identify and resolve systematic billing and collection issues. Your role will also involve educating internal and external customers on service tools and processes, ensuring they are well-informed and satisfied with the services provided.

Additionally, you will mentor team members on collection strategies and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team. You will drive the resolution of escalated cases and influence operational procedures for managing complex customer accounts, ensuring that all processes are documented and optimized for efficiency.
