What you'll do
As an Air Quality Engineer at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in managing air quality permitting and compliance for AWS facilities across the Americas. You will partner with various stakeholders to develop standards and mechanisms that integrate air quality considerations into the planning, building, and operation of data centers. Your responsibilities will include overseeing air permitting projects, ensuring that all activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
You will analyze air quality data and trends to inform decision-making and develop strategies that mitigate environmental impacts. Collaborating with engineering and operations teams, you will help implement best practices for air quality management, ensuring that AWS continues to lead in environmental compliance. You will also be involved in training and educating team members on air quality regulations and compliance requirements, fostering a culture of environmental stewardship within the organization.
