You have a background in environmental engineering or a related field, with experience in air quality permitting and compliance. You understand the complexities of environmental regulations and have a passion for ensuring compliance while supporting growth in AWS facilities. Your strong analytical skills enable you to assess air quality impacts and develop effective solutions. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with diverse stakeholders to achieve common goals. You have excellent communication skills, allowing you to convey technical information clearly to non-technical audiences. You are proactive in identifying potential compliance issues and developing strategies to address them.
What you'll do
As an Air Quality Engineer at Amazon, you will be responsible for managing air permitting projects for AWS facilities across the Americas. You will partner with various teams to integrate air quality considerations into the planning and operation of data centers. Your role will involve developing and implementing environmental programs that ensure compliance with air quality regulations. You will conduct assessments and analyses to evaluate air quality impacts and recommend mitigation measures. Additionally, you will stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure AWS remains a leader in environmental compliance. You will also provide training and guidance to internal teams on air quality standards and practices.
