Who you are
You are an innovative applied scientist with a strong background in AI and machine learning. You have experience working with Generative AI and Visual Language Models, and you understand the complexities of establishing product identities and relationships at scale. Your expertise allows you to navigate ambiguous problem spaces and work with incomplete and noisy data.
You possess a deep understanding of multimodal reasoning, which enables you to reason across text, images, and structured data. You are committed to maintaining accuracy and trust in high-stakes business decisions that affect millions of customers daily. Your problem-solving skills are complemented by your ability to explain complex decisions clearly and effectively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for powering the online buying experience for customers worldwide. You will innovate on behalf of customers to ensure uniqueness and consistency of product identity within Amazon's catalog. Your work will involve solving fundamental AI challenges related to product identity and relationships, leveraging advanced techniques to drive the selection gateway for search and browse experiences.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sophisticated models that can handle the staggering scale of Amazon's catalog, which includes billions of products and petabytes of multimodal data. Your contributions will directly impact how customers find, discover, and buy products on Amazon.
