Who you are

You are an experienced Automation Engineer with a strong background in maintaining automated systems and ensuring their optimal performance. You have a solid understanding of control systems and sensors, and you are skilled in analyzing data to enhance equipment availability in a logistics center. Your expertise allows you to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively, ensuring that operations run smoothly and customers receive their orders on time. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with various departments to maintain accurate documentation and backups of systems. You are also familiar with IEC 61131-3 compliant software and can interpret technical and electrical drawings to develop improvement strategies.

What you'll do

In this role, you will monitor, troubleshoot, and repair issues in key automated systems, ensuring their reliability and efficiency. You will collaborate with the EU Controls network to track device metrics for material handling equipment (MHE) and provide data visualizations to internal business partners for problem-solving. You will lead or actively participate in continuous improvement projects within the EU Controls network, working globally to install and commission new equipment as needed. Your role will also involve offering support to other facilities within the EU Controls network, ensuring that best practices are shared and implemented across locations. You will be at the forefront of Amazon's evolving technology, tackling complex challenges related to performance and automation.
