Who you are

You have extensive experience in pharmacy benefit or health plan operations — you've successfully managed complex vendor relationships and understand the nuances of ERISA compliance and HIPAA regulations. Your background in health tech integrations and data analytics equips you to drive member-centric pharmacy innovations effectively.

You excel in vendor management and performance monitoring — your ability to synthesize program data, including voice of customer insights, allows you to make strategic recommendations that enhance the pharmacy benefit model and improve the overall member experience.

Your consultative approach as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in benefit operations and benefits technology enables you to provide valuable support across various departments, ensuring that all pharmacy solutions align with Amazon's vision for innovative healthcare.

What you'll do

In this role, you will oversee an innovative pharmacy benefit model, devising program strategies and executing day-to-day operations. You will lead pharmacy benefit design improvements and manage vendor relationships to ensure optimal performance and compliance.

You will synthesize program data to identify operational improvements and make strategic recommendations that enhance the member experience. Your role will involve developing product specifications for technical teams to build new pharmacy solutions and facilitate cross-vendor integrations.

Monitoring, documenting, and analyzing member escalations and program performance will be key responsibilities, allowing you to continuously optimize the pharmacy benefit program. You will collaborate closely with benefits leadership, Amazon Health Services, and vendor partners to execute on the vision for pharmacy benefits.

What we offer

Amazon offers a competitive salary range of $135,100.00 - $182,700.00 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
