Who you are

You have experience in logistics operations, ideally within a fast-paced environment, and understand the complexities of managing large-scale logistics challenges. You thrive in collaborative settings, where you can contribute ideas and solutions to improve operational efficiency. You are adaptable and can navigate ambiguity, ensuring that you deliver results even in dynamic situations. Your attention to detail ensures that processes are followed and standards are met, making you a guardian of operational excellence. You are comfortable working with various stakeholders, including external partners, to ensure that logistics operations run smoothly and effectively.

Desirable

Experience in a logistics or supply chain role is a plus, as is familiarity with managing operations for heavy and bulky products. You have a proactive mindset and are eager to test and implement new ideas that can enhance operational performance. A background in data analysis or process improvement methodologies would be beneficial, as you will be expected to analyze performance metrics and suggest enhancements.

What you'll do

In this role, you will act as the Control Tower for logistics operations, overseeing the execution of processes managed by external partners. You will be responsible for ensuring that operations are compliant with Amazon's standards and that performance metrics are met consistently. Your role will involve managing the tactical execution of routines at delivery stations, ensuring that all operations run efficiently and effectively. You will collaborate closely with logistics partners, conducting audits and on-site visits to maintain high standards of performance. You will also be involved in problem-solving and troubleshooting operational issues as they arise, ensuring that customer promises are fulfilled.
