What you'll do
In this role, you will manage the category and vendor portfolio for Softlines at Amazon, focusing on expanding vendor selection and securing new brand partnerships. You will develop and implement strategic action plans that are informed by thorough analysis of product line metrics, providing recommendations on business opportunities and long-term strategies for multiple sub-categories. Your responsibilities will include evaluating products and services to continually drive the quality of the customer experience, ensuring that your team is aligned with the company's customer obsession philosophy.
You will work closely with key local and global manufacturers and suppliers to build and sustain strategic relationships that enhance the product offering. Your role will also involve identifying opportunities to differentiate Amazon's customer experience from competitors, ensuring that the company remains a leader in the retail space. You will be responsible for driving category growth through effective project management and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
