Onsite Medical Representative

Who you are

You are an experienced Onsite Medical Representative with a strong commitment to workplace health and safety. You have a passion for advocating health and wellness principles, ensuring that all associates feel supported in their health needs. You are comfortable working independently and assessing medical situations to provide first aid as necessary. You understand the importance of collaboration and communication, as you will work closely with the WHS Site Manager and other specialists to promote a safe working environment.

You are knowledgeable about OSHA regulations and have experience in case management, which allows you to effectively participate in safety committee meetings and case reviews. You are proactive in your approach, always looking for ways to improve the health and safety culture within the organization. Your ability to engage with new hires and existing associates helps foster a supportive atmosphere where health and safety are prioritized.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for providing first aid support to associates and making referrals to outside medical providers when necessary. You will attend weekly safety committee meetings to discuss health and safety initiatives and participate in case management reviews to ensure that all incidents are handled appropriately. Your role will involve greeting new hires and providing them with essential information about workplace health and safety protocols. You will also be involved in educating associates about occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses, helping them navigate their health needs effectively.

You will work closely with the WHS team to implement best practices and resources that promote a safe working environment. Your contributions will be vital in helping Amazon achieve its goal of becoming the benchmark of safety excellence across all industries. You will be an advocate for health and wellness, ensuring that associates have access to the support they need to thrive in their roles.
