You have a proven track record of providing training and guidance to teams, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Your ability to work with diverse teams and communicate effectively makes you a key player in maintaining operational standards. You are committed to continuous learning and adapting to new technologies and practices in the industry.
Desirable
Experience with advanced data center technologies and practices is a plus. What you'll do
As the Data Center Night Chief Engineer, you will act as the primary escalation point for all facilities-related issues, ensuring that operations run smoothly during your shift. You will oversee the management of routine and emergency services on a variety of critical systems, including power distribution equipment and cooling systems. Your role will involve performing root cause analysis of equipment failures and troubleshooting facilities within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA). You will also be responsible for creating and deploying new standard practices to enhance operational efficiency. Collaborating with the Facility Manager, you will help set the team culture and provide mentorship to Engineering Operations Technicians. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining the safety and security of the data centers, as well as implementing the newest technology and work practices to meet the demands of a changing market.
