Who you are
You have extensive experience in data center operations, particularly in managing electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems. Your expertise allows you to ensure that all equipment operates at peak efficiency, and you are skilled in planned preventative maintenance and emergency response. You are a technical resource who collaborates effectively with onsite Engineering Operations Technicians and third-party vendors, serving as the focal point for all facility operations within the data center.

What you'll do
As the Data Center Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center. You will lead planned preventative maintenance efforts and address daily corrective work to ensure optimal performance. Your role will involve emergency response to any operational issues, ensuring that the data center remains functional and efficient.
You will collaborate closely with a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, and operations managers to tackle the most challenging problems in data center management. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability and efficiency of Amazon Web Services' infrastructure, supporting the needs of millions of customers globally. You will also be involved in strategic planning and execution of facility operations, ensuring that all systems are aligned with AWS's operational goals.
What we offer
Amazon provides a competitive salary range of $96,000.00 - $166,300.00 USD annually, along with comprehensive benefits including dental, vision, and prescription coverage, as well as a 401(k) matching program.
