You have experience in Critical Infrastructure Commissioning and are looking for a challenging environment to apply your skills. You understand the complexities of construction quality and are adept at managing expectations to meet customer requirements. Your background includes working with various systems such as medium and low voltage power systems, generators, UPS, and HVAC systems. You are familiar with building management systems (BMS) and electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS), and you have a strong grasp of testing and balancing techniques.
You thrive in collaborative settings and enjoy working with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams. Your problem-solving skills enable you to tackle the fascinating challenges associated with building and supporting Amazon's data centers. You are committed to ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and meet the highest standards of quality.
What you'll do
As a Data Center Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning process of various systems within Amazon's data centers. You will work closely with construction teams to ensure that all installations meet engineering designs and customer specifications. Your role will involve evaluating and managing the quality of construction, ensuring that all systems are tested and balanced effectively.
You will support the commissioning of medium and low voltage power systems, generators, UPS, HVAC systems, and chilled water systems. Additionally, you will be involved in the implementation of building management systems and electrical power monitoring systems. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and resolving any issues that arise during the commissioning process, ensuring that all systems are operational and meet performance standards.
You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists, contributing to the overall success of AWS Infrastructure Services. Your work will play a vital role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of Amazon's cloud services, impacting customers globally.
