Job Description
Who you are
You have extensive experience in Critical Infrastructure Commissioning Management, ideally with a background in managing teams and projects in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise includes coordinating with vendors, contractors, and various teams to ensure successful project execution. You understand the importance of delivering projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
You possess strong leadership skills, enabling you to effectively manage a team of Commissioning Engineers (CxE) and ensure that all projects are appropriately staffed and resourced. Your ability to audit activities continuously ensures that all commissioning processes meet the required standards. You are also comfortable with multi-discipline input into scheduling, test script development, and project planning.
What you'll do
As the Commissioning Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple commissioning projects across the AMER-East region. You will lead your team in the commissioning of various systems, including medium and low voltage power systems, generators, UPS, HVAC systems, and building management systems. Your role will involve reviewing component submittal packages, leading Factory Witness Testing (FWT), and performing system-level and integrated system testing.
You will ensure that all projects are delivered on time and achieve bar-raising quality. This includes comprehensive weekly reporting on the status of ongoing projects and lessons learned to improve the quality of the commissioning program. You will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements throughout the commissioning process.
What we offer
Amazon provides a competitive salary range of $150,200.00 - $203,300.00 USD annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
