Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in global supplier management, particularly in the semiconductor industry — you've successfully introduced new suppliers and developed sourcing strategies that align with technology roadmaps. Your background includes negotiating contracts and executing sourcing decisions to support product introductions and long-term commodity strategies.
You are a self-managed and driven sourcing strategist — you thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy problem-solving through teamwork. Your expertise in electronic components, including Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), TIMs, FETs, IMUs, and Antennas, positions you as a key player in the Amazon Robotics Supply Chain organization.
Your strong business acumen allows you to map and align design and technology roadmaps effectively — you understand the importance of getting the right materials to the right place at the right time to support Amazon's global fulfillment and transportation solutions. You are passionate about innovation and inspired by the advances in robotics and software.
Desirable
Experience in robotics or automation technologies is a plus — familiarity with mechatronic systems and pack automation solutions will enhance your contributions to the team. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to the evolving needs of the organization.
What you'll do
As a Senior Commodity Manager, you will lead the sourcing and management of electronic components for Amazon Robotics — your role will involve developing and executing sourcing strategies that support new product introductions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the right materials are sourced and delivered on time.
You will negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage relationships to foster long-term partnerships — your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels will be crucial in this role.
