Who you are
You have a strong background in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks, with experience in designing and implementing compliance programs that meet regulatory and contractual security requirements. Your expertise includes maintaining compliance certifications such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2, and you are familiar with standards like NIST 800-53, GDPR, and CCPA. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with various business and security teams.
You are passionate about security and compliance, and you understand the importance of customer trust in the technology sector. You have a proactive approach to identifying compliance needs and assessing the maturity of processes and controls. Your ability to liaise with external auditors and regulators is a key strength, and you thrive in environments where you can drive scalable processes within a GRC framework.
What you'll do
In this role, you will design and drive scalable processes within a GRC framework to ensure compliance with Leo's regulatory and contractual security and privacy requirements. You will be responsible for building and maintaining compliance certifications, identifying applicable security controls, and assessing compliance gaps. Collaborating with various business and security teams across Amazon, you will work to deliver high-impact security and compliance programs that meet the needs of the Leo initiative.
You will also engage with external auditors and regulators to ensure that compliance requirements are met and maintained. Your role will involve continuous improvement of compliance processes and controls, ensuring that they are effective and aligned with industry standards. You will play a critical role in fostering a culture of compliance within the organization, helping to educate and inform team members about compliance requirements and best practices.
What we offer
Amazon offers a competitive salary range of $102,000.00 - $178,400.00 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) matching program.
