What you'll do

As a Construction Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for the oversight of construction-related activities for AWS infrastructure projects. This includes managing the project scope, quality, schedule, and budget, ensuring that all deliverables meet the required standards. You will conduct negotiations with general contractors and evaluate bids and proposals with attention to detail, ensuring that the best options are selected for project execution.

You will lead the construction project management efforts, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Your role will involve direct interaction with contractors during the bidding, award, execution, and project closeout phases, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining project documentation, tracking progress, and reporting on project status to senior management.
