You have a technical background and experience in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of building management systems (BMS) and electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS). You are passionate about customer experience and have a global mindset, ready to contribute to major innovations in building controls and automation. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working alongside software, hardware, and network engineers, as well as supply chain specialists and operations managers.
You understand the complexities of data center operations and are eager to tackle the challenges that come with maintaining AWS's global infrastructure. Your ability to think critically and solve problems will be essential as you work to ensure the highest standards for safety and security in the data centers. What you'll do
As a Controls Technician, you will be responsible for the service and construction of building management systems and electrical power monitoring systems within Amazon data centers. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that all systems are functioning optimally, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of AWS infrastructure. Your role will involve hands-on work, including installation and maintenance tasks, as well as troubleshooting issues as they arise.
You will engage with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance operational performance and support the delivery of AWS services. Your contributions will help maintain the infrastructure that supports millions of customers worldwide, ensuring they have continual access to the cloud services they rely on. You will also participate in initiatives aimed at improving safety and security standards across the data centers.
