Who you are
You have a strong background in engineering, particularly in data center operations and controls. Your experience includes managing building management systems (BMS) and electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS), ensuring optimal performance and reliability. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside software, hardware, and network engineers to tackle complex challenges in the AWS infrastructure. Your problem-solving skills are complemented by a proactive approach to project management, allowing you to develop new processes and standards effectively.
You are familiar with various components of data centers, including generators, uninterruptable power sources, and power distribution units. Your technical expertise enables you to troubleshoot issues efficiently, ensuring that all systems operate smoothly. You are committed to maintaining the highest standards for safety and security while delivering capacity at the lowest possible cost for customers. Your ability to innovate in the controls space sets you apart as a valuable team member.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the building management systems and electrical power monitoring systems within AWS data centers.
