You are ready to participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed, demonstrating your commitment to ensuring continuous service for customers.
What you'll do
As a Data Center Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational integrity of AWS data centers. Your responsibilities will include performing in-depth hardware and network diagnostics, followed by physical repairs to ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally. You will regularly lift and move equipment, participating in group lifts for heavier items, and you will be expected to work in a 24/7 environment, contributing to the on-call rotation.
You will collaborate with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, as well as supply chain specialists and operations managers, to address challenges and implement solutions that enhance data center performance. Your role will involve troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed to protect both the equipment and your colleagues.
