What you'll do
As a Data Center Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the heartbeat of AWS's global cloud infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include installing equipment, creating documentation, and troubleshooting issues within the data center. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists to ensure that all servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment are functioning optimally. Your role will require you to innovate solutions to complex problems and ensure that our customers have continual access to the services they rely on.
You will be responsible for performing hardware repairs and network troubleshooting, ensuring that all systems are operational and efficient. Your ability to document processes and create clear communication will be vital in maintaining high standards for safety and security within the data center. You will also have the opportunity to work on challenging problems that impact the supply chain, contributing to the overall success of AWS's infrastructure services.
