What you'll do

As a Data Center Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the heartbeat of AWS's global infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include performing in-depth hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repairs to ensure that data center operations run smoothly. You will collaborate with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers to deliver the highest standards of service. You will also participate in an on-call rotation, responding to incidents and ensuring that our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.

You will be involved in the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure, supporting all data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of AWS services, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to solving some of the most challenging problems in the industry. You will be part of a culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

Amazon offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $29.00 to $52.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
