What you'll do
As a Data Center Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining AWS's global infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include performing in-depth hardware and network diagnostics, followed by physical repairs to ensure that all equipment operates at peak performance. You will collaborate with software, hardware, and network engineers to tackle the most challenging problems in data center operations.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment are functioning optimally, providing continual access to the innovation that AWS customers rely on. Your role will also involve participating in an on-call rotation, which will require you to respond to urgent issues as they arise, ensuring minimal downtime for our services.
You will work closely with your team to uphold the highest standards for safety and security while delivering seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of AWS data centers, making you an integral part of the team that keeps the cloud running.
