Amazon is hiring a Senior Data Engineer for their Worldwide Operations Finance team to standardize data platforms and automate data engineering processes. You'll work with AWS, SQL, and Python to deliver scalable data solutions in Hyderabad.

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on building scalable data infrastructure and automating data processes. Your expertise in AWS and SQL allows you to design and implement robust data solutions that drive analytics and reporting. You excel in data governance practices, ensuring data quality and access standards are met across the organization. Your ability to communicate effectively with business owners and technical teams enables you to gather requirements and translate them into actionable data solutions.

You are proficient in Python and have experience with Apache Spark, which you use to create efficient data pipelines that integrate multiple heterogeneous data sources. Your background in data warehousing and ETL processes equips you to curate data for reporting, analysis, and machine learning models. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful data-driven insights.

Desirable

Experience with data modeling and data governance frameworks is a plus. Familiarity with machine learning concepts and tools will help you contribute to advanced analytics initiatives. You are always eager to learn new technologies and methodologies to enhance your data engineering skills.

What you'll do

As a Senior Data Engineer at Amazon, you will be responsible for establishing a reliable and accessible data platform for the Worldwide Operations Finance team.
