What you'll do

As a Data Engineer at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the 3 Year Data Infrastructure Modernisation strategy. Your responsibilities will include supporting and migrating data analytics use cases for targeted customer groups, as well as implementing new features within the central platform. You will engage in component design and implementation using AWS services, ensuring adherence to best engineering practices.

You will also be involved in user acceptance testing, launch, and post-launch support, ensuring that the solutions you develop meet the needs of the Operations Finance teams. Your work will require you to integrate new components into established architectures, contributing to a unified data access platform that enhances governance and observability frameworks.

Collaboration will be key in your role, as you will work closely with various teams to adopt designs and practices that have been successful in other areas. You will contribute to the decision-making process regarding whether to buy or build solutions, evaluating the feasibility of adopting new products and identifying potential blockers.
