Who you are
You have a strong background in technology management with at least 5 years of experience in people management and a robust technical understanding of data center operations. You are driven and have a vision to enhance AWS Data Center Operations, focusing on creating sustainable processes and standards. Your experience includes managing teams, mentoring individuals, and providing strategic direction to ensure successful project delivery.
You possess a deep understanding of network capacity and equipment installation, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and with zero rework. Your ability to track budgets and propose technical solutions is complemented by your strong leadership skills, enabling you to grow and develop your team effectively. You are passionate about driving automation opportunities to reduce delivery cycle times while maintaining high-quality standards.
What you'll do
As the Senior Infrastructure Delivery Manager, you will manage the implementation and delivery of inbound capacity and equipment for AWS data centers. Your role will involve overseeing a growing team, ensuring their development and growth while driving the mission of delivering network capacity on time. You will create and implement processes that enhance efficiency and quality without impacting network availability.
You will be responsible for managing budgets and providing strategic direction to your team, ensuring that all projects align with AWS's operational goals. Your technical expertise will be crucial in proposing solutions that improve infrastructure delivery and drive low voltage structured cabling across the Amazon data center platform. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that the cloud infrastructure remains robust and reliable, supporting all AWS data centers and their associated equipment.
