You have a strong background in cloud operations and experience as a systems engineer — you've successfully managed large-scale cloud infrastructures and understand the intricacies of high-availability services. Your expertise in AWS services like EC2, S3, and DynamoDB is complemented by your ability to collaborate with global teams to drive operational excellence.

What you'll do
In this role, you will oversee the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud, working closely with AWS teams to ensure a successful rollout in 2025. You will be responsible for building and leading operations and development teams dedicated to delivering high-availability AWS services. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with technology leaders to enhance operations, focusing on improving availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency of the ESC.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AWS services for EU customers, ensuring that they receive the best possible experience. Your contributions will directly impact the scalability and reliability of the services offered, making you an integral part of the AWS Managed Operations team.
