Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems, with hands-on experience troubleshooting and operating equipment. You understand the importance of safety in the workplace and are committed to maintaining high safety standards. Your operational experience includes familiarity with Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPSβs), Circuit Breakers, and HVAC systems. You are detail-oriented and capable of taking daily operational readings of mechanical and electrical equipment. You enjoy working in a team environment and supervising contractors to ensure effective maintenance practices.
Desirable
Experience with Diesel Generators and Chillers is a plus, as is a background in facility operations. You are proactive in identifying safety risks and are eager to contribute to a world-class safety culture. You are comfortable with manual handling and lifting of equipment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
What you'll do
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for the operational maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment within the data center. You will troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure that all systems are functioning within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAβs). Your role will involve taking daily operational readings and supervising contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance. You will actively participate in safety initiatives and projects, fostering a strong safety culture within the team. Your hands-on skills will be essential in maintaining one of the world's largest information system infrastructures.
