Who you are
You have a strong background in electromagnetic environmental effects testing, particularly in the context of avionics and satellite systems. You are skilled in developing and maintaining EMC test software, and you understand the importance of thorough documentation in the testing process. You possess a keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving, which enables you to navigate complex testing scenarios. Your familiarity with calibration and maintenance of EMC equipment is a key asset, as is your ability to generate comprehensive test reports that communicate findings clearly to stakeholders. What you'll do
In this role, you will focus on the compliance of avionics and payload/antenna subsystems for Amazon's low-earth-orbit satellite initiative. You will collaborate with hardware design teams as a subject matter expert in electromagnetic environmental effects testing throughout the development process. Your responsibilities will include defining test requirements, conducting Test Readiness Reviews, and providing EMC test support. You will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of EMC test software, ensuring that it meets the needs of the testing process.
You will complete EMC test procedures and generate detailed test reports, supporting teams with test configurations and performing testing according to established standards. Your role will require you to work closely with cross-functional teams to define and support LRU cable harnesses, loads, and tests, ensuring that all components meet the necessary compliance requirements. You will play a crucial role in the success of the Amazon Leo initiative, contributing to the development of next-generation high-performance avionics for use in orbit.
