Job Description
Who you are
You are a Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong background in designing digital and analog circuits. You have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop high-speed serial links that interface with FPGA and/or SoC circuitry. Your technical and analytical capabilities are complemented by a proven track record of delivering hardware solutions.
You possess expertise in ECAD schematic capture and have led design reviews for hardware systems, including architecture, schematic, and PCB layout reviews. Your ability to develop comprehensive test plans and lead qualification and production testing efforts sets you apart in the field. You are also skilled in debugging avionics and power subsystems, ensuring that all components meet stringent requirements.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be a key member of the avionics development team for Amazon Leo, contributing to the design and implementation of critical components for our satellite constellation. You will lead the design reviews of hardware systems, ensuring that all designs meet the necessary specifications and performance criteria. Your responsibilities will include developing bring-up test plans and leading qualification and production test plan development to ensure the reliability of our systems.
You will also support subsystem production ramp and larger system integration, working closely with various teams to ensure that all components function seamlessly together. Your leadership in requirement derivation and traceability for hardware subsystems will be crucial in maintaining project timelines and quality standards. You will be expected to lead debug efforts for avionics and power subsystems, troubleshooting issues as they arise and implementing effective solutions.
