Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in embedded software development, with experience in languages such as C, C++, and Rust. You are familiar with real-time embedded software philosophies and practices, and you thrive in a collaborative environment. Your expertise in Linux environments allows you to effectively troubleshoot and develop software for complex systems. You understand the importance of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and are comfortable participating in all phases, from requirements gathering to testing and code coverage. You are detail-oriented and have experience reviewing schematics and using logic analyzers to ensure the reliability of your software.
What you'll do
As an Embedded Engineer on the Amazon Leo team, you will design and implement embedded software for a variety of terrestrial devices within the satellite network. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the software meets the needs of customers in areas lacking reliable internet connectivity. You will participate in all phases of the SDLC, ensuring that your contributions are well-documented and thoroughly tested. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting embedded software issues and optimizing performance for the devices you work on. Your work will directly impact the delivery of fast and reliable internet connectivity to underserved communities.
