Job Description

Who you are

You have experience in developing embedded software for consumer electronic products, with a strong understanding of real-time embedded software philosophies and practices. You are proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, and Rust, and have a solid background in Linux and RTOS environments. Your ability to review schematics and troubleshoot embedded software using bare-metal techniques sets you apart. You are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident due to export control requirements.

What you'll do

As an Embedded Software Dev Engineer, you will design, craft, and deploy reliable embedded software for a variety of devices within the Amazon Leo satellite system. You will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and ensuring code/test coverage. Your role will involve developing embedded software for terrestrial devices, contributing to the innovative solutions that Amazon Leo aims to deliver. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of software solutions that enhance connectivity for users in remote areas.
