What you'll do

As the Senior Engineering Manager for the ML accelerator modeling team, you will lead the development of SoC models from conception to deployment. This includes overseeing model architecture, integration with other components, and ensuring thorough testing and debugging processes are in place. You will mentor your team, helping them grow their skills while also driving the hiring process to expand your team's capabilities. Your role will involve both strategic oversight and hands-on involvement, as you will be expected to dive into the codebase and tackle technical challenges directly.

You will collaborate closely with architecture, RTL design, and software teams to ensure that the models you develop meet the high standards required for AWS's Trainium Machine Learning servers. Your focus will be on improving the quality, delivery speed, and overall usefulness of the models, aligning them with customer needs and use cases. You will also develop mechanisms and infrastructure that enable your team to produce high-quality, maintainable software that meets the demands of a fast-paced environment.
