What you'll do
As an Engineering Operations Technician, you will be responsible for the on-site maintenance and operation of all electrical, mechanical, emergency generator, and fire/life safety equipment within the AWS data center. You will collaborate with a team of software, hardware, and network engineers to ensure that all systems are functioning optimally. Your role will involve troubleshooting equipment issues, performing routine maintenance, and implementing safety protocols to protect both the infrastructure and your colleagues.
You will serve as a technical resource, providing support and guidance to other team members as needed. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of AWS services, allowing customers to access the innovation they rely on without interruption. You will also participate in continuous improvement initiatives, helping to enhance operational processes and reduce downtime.
