What you'll do
As an Engineering Operations Technician at Amazon, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting mission-critical facilities within our data centers. You will work with a variety of systems, including stand-by diesel generators, UPSs, PDUs, and cooling systems, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and effectively. Your role will involve hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, allowing you to apply your technical expertise in real-time situations.
You will collaborate closely with other engineers and specialists to support the overall operations of AWS infrastructure services. This includes participating in maintenance activities, conducting inspections, and implementing improvements to enhance system reliability. You will also be involved in training and mentoring new team members, sharing your knowledge and experience to foster a culture of learning and growth within the team.
