You have a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical engineering principles, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting complex systems. Your expertise allows you to maintain and operate mission-critical facilities, ensuring that all equipment runs smoothly and efficiently. You are comfortable working with various systems, including diesel generators, three-phase electrical systems, and cooling equipment. Your ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues makes you a valuable asset to any team. You are detail-oriented and take pride in your work, knowing that your efforts directly impact the performance of AWS data centers.

What you'll do

As an Engineering Operations Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the electrical and mechanical systems that support AWS data centers. This includes working with standby diesel generators, UPS systems, and cooling equipment to ensure optimal performance. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists to address challenges and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

You will conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on critical systems, documenting your findings and actions to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Your role will involve responding to alarms and alerts, diagnosing issues, and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime. You will also participate in projects aimed at improving infrastructure reliability and efficiency, contributing your insights and expertise to drive continuous improvement.
