You are an Engineering Operations Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems — you thrive in environments where you can troubleshoot and maintain critical infrastructure. Your hands-on experience with data center operations equips you to handle complex equipment, ensuring seamless functionality and uptime. Desirable
Experience with AWS infrastructure is a plus, as is familiarity with Linux systems. You may also have certifications related to electrical or mechanical engineering, which would enhance your qualifications for this role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting various systems within Amazon's data centers — your expertise will help ensure that mission-critical facilities operate smoothly. You will work with stand-by diesel generators, three-phase electrical systems, and cooling equipment, among other technologies. Your role will involve hands-on work, requiring you to diagnose and resolve issues quickly to maintain the high uptime standards that Amazon is known for. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of AWS infrastructure.
What we offer
Amazon provides a competitive hourly wage ranging from $36.00 to $63.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
