What you'll do
As an Engineering Technician at Amazon, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting various systems within the data center. You will work with stand-by diesel generators, three-phase electrical systems, switch gear, UPSs, PDUs, and wet cell batteries. Your role will involve hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively. You will collaborate with other technicians and engineers to address any issues that arise, contributing to the overall reliability of the data center. You will also participate in routine maintenance and inspections, documenting your findings and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Your expertise will help maintain the extraordinary uptime that Amazon is known for, directly impacting the digital experiences of customers worldwide.
