What you'll do

As an Engineering Operations Technician at Amazon, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting various electrical and mechanical systems within the data center. You will work with stand-by diesel generators, three-phase electrical systems, and cooling equipment to ensure seamless operations. Your role will involve hands-on work with switch gear, UPSs, PDUs, and centrifugal chillers, among other critical systems. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to address operational challenges and implement solutions that enhance system reliability. Your contributions will directly impact the uptime of our data centers, ensuring that customers have continuous access to the services they rely on. You will also participate in routine maintenance and inspections, documenting your findings and collaborating with your team to improve processes and systems.
