Job Description
Who you are
You are an Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems — you thrive in hands-on environments where you can troubleshoot and maintain critical infrastructure. Your expertise ensures that mission-critical technology operates seamlessly, contributing to an extraordinary 99.999% uptime. You understand the importance of maintaining the heartbeat of technology infrastructure and are eager to be part of a team that supports global digital experiences.
You have experience working with diesel generators, three-phase electrical systems, and various cooling systems — your knowledge extends to switch gear, UPSs, PDUs, and centrifugal chillers. You are comfortable operating and troubleshooting complex systems, ensuring that all equipment runs efficiently and effectively. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills make you a valuable asset in maintaining operational excellence.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating AWS data center facilities — your day-to-day tasks will involve troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance. You will work closely with a diverse team of engineers and specialists, collaborating to solve challenging problems that impact the supply chain and overall infrastructure reliability.
You will play a key role in ensuring that all systems, including cooling towers and air handlers, are functioning correctly — your hands-on approach will help identify issues before they escalate, contributing to the overall efficiency of the data center. You will also be involved in routine maintenance and inspections, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Amazon provides a competitive hourly wage ranging from $36.00 to $63.00, depending on experience and qualifications. You will have access to comprehensive benefits, including health coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. Join a company that values innovation and teamwork, where your contributions directly impact the success of AWS infrastructure services. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement — your passion for technology and commitment to excellence are what matter most.
