Who you are

You are an entry-level Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems. You have hands-on experience troubleshooting complex equipment and are eager to learn about data center operations. Your attention to detail ensures that you maintain high standards of uptime and reliability in mission-critical environments.

You possess a basic understanding of AWS infrastructure and are familiar with the components that keep data centers running smoothly. You are comfortable working with diesel generators, UPS systems, and three-phase electrical systems. Your ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of engineers and specialists is one of your key strengths.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting various systems within Amazon's data centers. You will work on stand-by diesel generators, switch gear, UPSs, PDUs, and cooling systems, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently. Your hands-on approach will help you identify and resolve issues quickly, contributing to the overall uptime of the facilities.

You will collaborate with software, hardware, and network engineers to support the design and operation of AWS global infrastructure. Your role will involve monitoring systems, performing routine maintenance, and assisting in the implementation of improvements to enhance operational efficiency. You will also participate in training sessions to further develop your technical skills and knowledge of data center operations.
