Who you are
You are detail-oriented and organized, eager to learn how to apply your causal inference skillset to solve real-world problems. As an intern, you are enrolled in at least the third year of a Ph.D. program in Economics or a related field, and you possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. Your knowledge of data analysis languages such as R, Stata, and Python will be essential in this role, as will your understanding of statistical or econometric modeling.
You are looking for hands-on experience in applied economics, supported by mentorship and structured feedback. You understand the importance of collaboration and are excited to work alongside economists, scientists, and product managers to tackle real business and research problems. You are committed to building skills that will prepare you for full-time economist roles at Amazon and beyond.
Desirable
Experience with statistical software and econometric analysis will be beneficial. You are open to learning and adapting to new challenges, and you are motivated to contribute to impactful projects within Amazon Pharmacy.
What you'll do
As an Economist Intern at Amazon, you will work on real business and research problems, applying your econometric analysis skills to derive insights that can influence decision-making. What we offer
This internship is a full-time position at 40 hours per week, with compensation awarded on an hourly basis. Starting pay for this position ranges from $129,200.00 to $174,700.00 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
