As a Mechatronic Apprentice I, you are eager to learn and develop your skills in a hands-on environment. You have a foundational understanding of mechatronics, combining electronic, mechanical, and control systems. You are committed to adhering to safety regulations and policies while working alongside experienced journey workers. Your enthusiasm for technology and problem-solving will drive your success in this role.

You are detail-oriented and capable of analyzing and troubleshooting complex systems. You understand the importance of preventative maintenance and are dedicated to ensuring high levels of equipment availability. Your ability to work with technical documents will aid you in your learning process as you assist in the installation and repair of automated systems.

What you'll do

In this role, you will engage in on-the-job learning, gaining practical experience with high-performance manufacturing systems. You will assist in the maintenance and repair of Robotics and Material Handling Equipment (MHE), ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include conducting preventative maintenance and troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.

You will be paired with journey workers who will guide you through various tasks, allowing you to learn from their expertise. This apprenticeship will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment, where you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance team.
