You are eager to learn and develop your skills in mechatronics and robotics, with a strong interest in combining electronic, mechanical, computer, and control skills. You thrive in a hands-on environment and are committed to adhering to safety regulations and policies while working with complex high-performance manufacturing systems.
You are detail-oriented and enjoy troubleshooting and repairing systems to maintain process efficiency. Your ability to work based on technical documents will help you succeed in assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated equipment. You are ready to collaborate with journey workers and learn from their expertise in various facilities, including those with high automation and robotics.
What you'll do
As a Mechatronic Apprentice I at Amazon, you will engage in on-the-job learning to develop your skills in maintaining and improving automated systems. You will assist in conducting preventative maintenance to ensure equipment availability and reliability. Your role will involve analyzing and troubleshooting systems, ensuring that you contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.
You will work closely with experienced technicians, gaining insights into the installation and repair of robotics and material handling equipment. Your responsibilities will include adhering to safety standards and policies while learning to operate and maintain complex manufacturing systems.
