Who you are
You are an aspiring Quality Assurance Engineer with a keen interest in ensuring the quality of customer-facing products and core infrastructure. You have a foundational understanding of testing methodologies and are eager to learn about high-throughput APIs and machine learning model integrations. Your attention to detail and analytical mindset will help you identify issues and improve product quality.
You are familiar with AWS and have some experience with Python, which will enable you to contribute effectively to the team. You understand the importance of quality assurance in the software development lifecycle and are excited about the opportunity to work on innovative technologies that enhance customer experiences.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for assuring the quality of products that are critical touchpoints in the customer shopping journey. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to test and validate features, ensuring they meet the highest standards before they reach customers. You will engage in testing sophisticated algorithms and contribute to the development of robust platforms that support multiple teams across Amazon.
You will participate in the design and execution of test plans, report defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues. Your work will directly impact the customer experience, as you help build and scale transformative solutions within Amazon's IES DEX organization.
