Who you are
You have experience in facilities management or a related field, demonstrating your ability to monitor and manage alarm systems effectively. You are skilled in communication, capable of handling multi-line telephones and various communication tools simultaneously. Your proactive approach allows you to evaluate asset statuses and identify potential issues before they escalate. You understand the importance of adhering to service level agreements (SLAs) and are committed to maintaining the integrity of equipment reliability. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can multitask effectively, ensuring that all communications are handled promptly and accurately. You are detail-oriented and have a strong sense of responsibility, ensuring that all documentation and resolution management processes are followed meticulously.
What you'll do
In this role, you will monitor alarm systems and respond to alarm signals, ensuring that issues are triaged and escalated as necessary. You will assist site maintenance and operations personnel with troubleshooting efforts, providing support to ensure that all equipment operates smoothly. Your responsibilities will include managing vendor dispatch and tracking, ensuring that local vendors are engaged promptly when issues arise. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation of incidents and resolutions, contributing to the overall efficiency of the Maintenance Operations Center. You will work closely with various Amazon business units, providing support and ensuring that all operations meet the highest standards of service. Your role will require you to evaluate the status of assets proactively, identifying potential issues that may require escalation to supervisors or management. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the facilities operate effectively, contributing to the overall success of the Global Specialty Fulfillment team.
