Job Description
Who you are
You have 1-3 years of experience in facility management, particularly with mechanical and electrical systems. You possess a basic understanding of data center operations and are eager to learn more about the cloud computing industry. Your ability to work collaboratively with a team ensures that you contribute effectively to maintaining high operational standards.
You are detail-oriented and proactive in addressing technical issues that may arise within the data center environment. Your commitment to safety and efficiency drives you to develop and implement maintenance plans that minimize downtime and enhance service reliability. You are also open to receiving mentorship and training to further your career in data center operations.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and management of mechanical and electrical equipment within the data center. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all systems are operational 24/7, addressing any equipment failures promptly to minimize customer downtime. You will also assist in the installation and removal of IT equipment, collaborating with vendors to ensure maintenance services are delivered effectively.
Your daily activities will involve monitoring and controlling equipment, planning maintenance tasks, and preparing for any necessary repairs. You will engage in troubleshooting technical issues and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
